.:edit:.
The concert was amazing :D
We got to The Foundry, and just like last time... I saw the tour bus in the parking lot and got all excited. Kacie insisted that they still use Gord, their van.... but... well... FF5 upgraded to a bus. I guess Hawk Nelson did too.
We got in line outside because The Bridge area was closed. And we talked with this random girl for about an hour. It was quite fun :D
And then Jeff and Julie showed up! and then we saw Lucas... lol
And then........ I don't know if it was me or Kacie who saw him first... but we saw Jason Dunn kind of looking at us from behind the building wall. I completely freaked out.... and then tried to subtley take a picture of him... but then he saw us and got out a camera and took a picture of US!! I ducked quickly and didn't get my picture at all... except for Julie's forehead. It was pathetic and embarrassing :XD:
The line looked to be about twice as many people as showed up for the FF5 concert.... it was huge o_o
And the sky was all dark and cloudy and gloomy and pretty ^^
And they didn't let us in until practically an hour after the doors were supposed to open. We were lame and didn't have green t-shirts :/
But finally, the doors opened and we got in and this band was already playing :D
We found out they were The Radiance Effect. They were awesome, but they didn't play for very long.
Then they did this weird little commercial thing for Hawk Nelson's new album and everything..... and they played the Do you kazoo? podcast. It was kind of weird xD
Then Capital Lights came on. I wasn't expecting them. The flyer had said Juniper would be playing (whoever they are) but Capital Lights was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed them! At one point they covered a Hannah Montana song. It was very amusing, Kacie and I couldn't stop laughing.
Then Dan got on stage and talked some and explained how to use a slap bracelet. I wish I had taped it.
Then Run Kid Run came onstage! They were good! I only recognized one song though :P
Then it was Dan again. He wanted us to sponser a child in the Hands and Feet missions program thing. Then some other guy, I don't remember why he was there or what he said though.... because next.... was Hawk Nelson!
They were entirely amazing.
From past experience, Kacie insisted that I tape almost every song they played. That ended up being about 15 videos o____o
So, I didn't end up with as many photos as I would have of them..... :P
After the concert, we finally ran into Holly! We'd been looking for her ever since we got there. So that was fun. And Emily was there.... and Claire! And then the people said Hawk Nelson was signing stuff and taking pictures over there.... the opposite side of the room, as usual. The line/mob of people was huuuuuuge so I got a bunch of podcast buttons and a t-shirt. <3
By the time I got through the..... line. (FF5 actually had a single file line.... it was amazing..... this was a mob) by the time I got through there, only Jason was left. The rest of the band ditched. Kind of like when we saw FF5.... except that we got to hang out with FF5 for an hour before they all left but Crouton. Here.... well..... I can't really explain it, but I just enjoyed meeting FF5 a lot more than I enjoyed meeting Hawk Nelson... er, Jason. He did sign my shoe though, haha. And we got a picture with him. Blah.
Oh, and we were by The Radiance Effect's merch booth...... they look suspiciously like FF5. Their buttons have skulls on them.... they have diamonds on their CDs.... they have dinosaurs sitting on their table (which are relatively like draygons).... and they pose like FF5 does in pictures. It was amazing. We asked if they'd ever heard of them, and they were like... we've never met them.... haha.
and Kacie got a picture with the lead singer of Run Kid Run... and the guitarist of Capital Lights. Hahaha.
Then they kicked us out of The Foundry o__o
It was probably.... 10:30, or 11. We got to stay way past midnight at the FF5 concert........ huh.
So, since my mom wasn't there yet we wandered around outside for awhile.... the crew people probably thought we were stalking the bus that they were loading :XD:
We kind of halfway were o_o
Then I saw Jonathan going towards the bus across the parking lot..... without even thinking I chased him down and got him to sign my shoe :D
It was insane.
We never saw Dan or the new drummer guy offstage though. We even snuck backstage to look for them, but they were already in the bus, I guess.
It was insanely fun overall, but it will never compare to the FF5 experience.

Oh, and I got Hawk Nelson Is My Friend today. So did Kacie. We win!
I also got Smile, It's the End of the World... finally! So I can legally put it back on my iPod now xD

Oh, the joy of oil pastels...... be expecting a really weird piece of artwork coming soon. Maybe. If I finish it.

Boy Chris and Ducky? I'm afraid.

When all of HN is together they're amazing to meet. Skwid always stayed longer than pretty much everyone. Dan is funny too.

Ah, well... I missed out... :P

Yay! Are you getting the bobbleheads too, then?

Mmm.... there wasn't any moshing, but I was almost up against the stage. I wasn't only because there were people with green shirts in front of me :D

Nope. I don't know why. I just ordered off of amazon without remembering about the bobblehead thing.

CORRECTION! The guy booted us out at 10, when the Foundry closed. And I should write it up in my own words, cause you got some stuff a little messed up.... Lol. But you did good overall. Just got so excited you forgot some details, that’s all. :ohnoes: JK. I can’t believe I am now all over the internet. My parents wouldn’t improve of that, though.
